Abbey

Today my sister Abbey went through her Confirmation ceremony. It's a bittersweet moment for me. She asked me to be her sponsor, a tremendous honor, but I was unable to attend due to work. My mom substituted for me though. I'm very proud of the young woman my sister has become, and hope her faith grows with her every day.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! This year I have a lot to be thankful for. In addition to my family, my friends, and my health, this year brought two profound changes in my life - a new job (two actually!) and of course, my daughter!

To all my friends and relatives, have a wonderful and blessed holiday. You have my permission to gorge yourself on turkey, yams, stuffing, and pumpkin pie!
